Jennifer Eggers
One White Shirt defines a new beginning, a fresh start.
At 45 years old I got married for the first time, moved to the country and put my interior design (20 + years) career on hold. Known as the creative’s creative, I loved my work and made many interesting friends thru my high end projects, but I was simply burnt out and needed to stir it up and figure out what I would like to do next.
Here I am three years later still living in the country. I feel like a squirrel in a box and am on the daily hunt for inspiration.
I fear that my mind has been dulled by lack of interesting daily content, people, and things to do (with out driving an hour). But strangely on the flip side I believe this lifestyle has in a way sharpened my creative senses. It’s basically equivalent to loosing one’s eyesight– your other senses become stronger.
I have many different creative outlets. Whether it’s making fantastic meals to continuing with my painting — abstract acrylics and my inkblot series that I actually showed at the Weisman www.weisman.umn.edu but it just isn’t enough.
So after much analysis, I’ve started a surplus of creative content based on what I aspire in a creative content filled, qualitative lifestyle, hence: One White Shirt
Who knew that a blog would encompass all of my passions.
I vow to keep it fresh and on a permanent evolution. I hope that you visit often.
