Thursdays and Fridays (Holy Day) are the Kingdom’s weekend. El and I spent time exploring the souks (market places) as well as other local sites here in Jeddah. PUBLIC ART

Public art here in Jeddah is plenty. Heavy traffic in this city is occasionally and pleasantly interrupted by welcomed rotaries or round-a-bouts. Within these manicured tree and shrub lined centers are some wonderful pieces of sculpture (and some not so wonderful). MIDDAY AT MY AZRAK OASIS
